Hi,
I'm involved in a secondary data analysis using SPSS complex samples module.
1) Can SPSS do a factor analysis with a series (a total of 11) of binary
(yes/no) variables? We understand it is not widely encouraged, but people
have done it using Mplus. Does SPSS offer a way to do FA with binary
variables? If so, what is it?
2) According to SPSS complex samples manual, one can compute chi-square
through CS crosstabulation. When I tried, I got an error message saying that
the subpopulation I created (age 14 and over) was not identified as the
original strata. I’d like to know how I could resolve the error and do the
crosstab to compute chi-square.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
