John,
SAS no longer sells the Learning Edition, though you probably can get it off
Amazon or whatnot if they still have copies available.

If not, then I suggest you look at:
http://www.sas.com/govedu/edu/programs/od_academics.html
which is their replacement for SAS LE.

Full SAS is rather expensive indeed for learning purposes :)
