Today I birded the Columbus area and met up with Mark McShane, Max Medley,
Patty McLean, Krista Gridley and Kathy Miller at Eufaula NWR. I started the
morning off at Oxbow Meadows looking for the longspurs then it was off to
check on the Great Cormorant, which was nowhere to be found. Lastly, we went
to Eufaula NWR in search of Le Conte's Sparrows. We finished out the day
looking for Short-eared Owls, which was a no show.
