Subject:      Coast Report 1/24/11

This weekend James Fleullan and I birded the coast. We started at the Tybee
area and end in the Brunswick area. Places covered include, Tybee Island,
Fort Pulaski, Altamaha WMA, Andrew's Island, Jekyll Island, Saint Simons
Island, and Sea Island. We joined Patty McLean on Sunday and birded around
the Brunswick area. We searched for the Harris's Sparrow for many hours, but
it was not to be found, however it may still be there. We relocated the
Long-tailed Duck and James found a second Long-tailed Duck as well 2 Western
Grebes.
