I think whether he can be a seasoned SAS stat analyst is irrelavent for the proposed SAS programming book. You don't have to be a Stat expert to be able to write an excellent SAS programming book.

Besides, I don't see why a Chinese version SAS book will decrease the readers' SAS programming capability, it just doesn't make any logic sense.
