Subject: Not much happening in Bostwick

All,
Optimistically chasing the rain, I checked Bostwick Sod Farm at lunch. There
was standing water, but nothing standing in it! Horned Larks and only a few
Killdeer on the fields. Not even a shrike today.
Braswell Church Rd Farm Pond was no more exciting - Canada Geese, a Great Blue
Heron, and cows. No sign of the Greater White-fronted Geese.
Astondale Rd Cattle Pond was empty.
Best luck was at Bell's Lake on Colham Ferry Rd - viewed from right-of-way.
Five Blue-winged Teal, a Pectoral Sandpiper, four Double-crested Cormorants, and
a handful of Killdeer.
