Seminar Description: Want to learn how to describe the work you have done? Answer the interview question, “tell me what you have accomplished?” Write a cover letter that puts your strengths into words? Dr. Judith Katz will help you understand how to develop and use a PAR to identify and discuss your achievements, determine your competencies, and help to plan a career path. A PAR is an accomplishment statement that begins with a problem, followed by an action, and shows the result. These statements can help you to focus on your strengths in developing your CV or resume, writing cover letters, and preparing for interviews.

Your Speaker: Judith Katz, Psychologist and Career Coach Dr. Judith Katz has more than 20 years of experience coaching individuals as a consultant in higher education, industry, and academic medicine. Her areas of expertise include personal, career, and executive coaching, and career development. She has coached managers and professionals to make successful career transitions.

Dr. Katz experiences in the field of career development and coaching include: 14 years as Director of Career Planning and Placement at Swarthmore College; consultant to the Graduate Career Development and Placement Center at Wharton; Founding Director of Options, a community based career management service.

She is certified in various career development methodologies including the MBTI, Career Architect, Campbell Interest and Skills Survey, Benchmarks 360, and in Cognitive Behavior Therapy.
