I'll be there, and hopefully will talk (briefly) about Wall-E and the
Mountain of Numbers.

The Mid-Atlantic Malacologists meeting will be held on Saturday, 19
March 2011 at the Delaware Museum of Natural History.
We’ve had a strong response this year and as usual expect an
interesting variety of talks throughout the day. A few teasers:
· Lynn Dorwaldt, librarian at the Wagner Free Institute of
Science in Philadelphia will be talking about the Wagner rare book
collection, with a particular emphasis on the Mollusk holdings;
· Robert Robertson, Emeritus Curator at ANSP will discuss
pyramidellid larval ecology;
· Makiri Sei, Research Associate at ANSP will discuss Jamaican
Annulariidae;
· Bill Fenzan, Cone collector, will discuss the 1st Annual Cone
conference;
· Marla Coppolino, soon-to-be-official Research Associate at
DMNH, will discuss her audio of snail rasping;
· As always, we’ll finish up with at least one cephalopod talk –
this year on Rossia eggs found in deep-sea sponges.
It’s not too late to say you’ll come – just send an email and let me
know!
Best wishes,
Liz
