Dear Graduate Students:

Students from all disciplines are encouraged to consider applying for a full-scholarship to attend Singularity University this summer as the UGA representative.  Deadline for submission of an application is May 1, 2011.  Information about Singularity University and the scholarship application process is on the Graduate School’s website: http://www.grad.uga.edu/singularity/

A final information session for interested students will be held on Wednesday evening, April 27, in the Complex Carbohydrate Research Center (315 Riverbend Rd.) in the NMR Overlook Conference Room # 2065 from 7:00-9:00 pm. Kausar Samli, who attended SU last summer, will discuss:
-defining problem statement
-defining solution space
-clearly defining the innovation/idea
-impact
-implementation strategy
-addressing barriers to entry
