Subject: A Possible Replacement for SAS Learning Edition
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"
In response to the past weekend's thread concerning access to an Academic
SAS license and to the coming death of SAS Learning Edition, a Birdie
pointed me to the following link (Thanks, birdie!!):
http://support.sas.com/learn/le/
This page points academics to a page where they may sign up for that
service. At the bottom of the page is the paragraph:
"Professional customers
If you are interested in a learning version of SAS software designed to help
individual professionals discover how to use SAS, subscribe to our
<http://support.sas.com/learn/ondemand/professionals/interest.html> interest
list. We will use it to notify you of any news related to a future offering.
We appreciate your interest and feedback."
So, if you, like I, are interested in seeing a replacement for our copies of
LE, I suggest that you go to the page and indicate your interest.
