Hi Clare,
I used to be an ex-student of UCD and I believe the installation file has
been there all the time as long as one can log onto the intranet.
In my school currently, what we do is to put the software on the intranet at
a protected location where users who need the software will apply to us for
a password to log onto the location to download the software installer. This
way, we can check the users list and also manage the number of licenses.
Another alternative is to use webex or teamviewer to remote onto the
student's laptop to launch the installation program for them with you
logging on their behalf to the repository.
