Subject:   Treatment of missing data in Mixed
Content-Type:   text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

All,

I recently had someone tell me that mixed uses an em algorithm to include cases with missing data. My memory of the documentation was different. The missing data treatment documentation is very compact. The key phrase is, I think,

MIXED Y WITH TIME PCOVAR /FIXED = TIME PCOVAR TIME*PCOVAR /RANDOM = INTERCEPT TIME | SUBJECT(SUBJ) COVTYPE(ID).
