Best birds on the Huie ponds this am: blue-winged teal- approx. 80 arrived on the south pond in the past 2 days green-winged teal-9 n. shoveler-12 pied-billed grebe-6 cooper's hawk-1 red-shouldered hawk-1 am. kestrel-1 am. coot-5 least sandpiper-8 tree swallow-approx. 40 palm warbler-11 savannah sparrow-2 am. goldfinch-6

From the wetlands trail this afternoon: yellow-bellied sapsucker ruby-crowned kinglet tennessee warbler magnolia warbler pine warbler black-and-white warbler am. redstart common yellowthroat swamp sparrow scarlet tanager indigo bunting

Additionally, from the wetlands trail the past weekend: am. woodcock (on the ground) ruby-throated hummingbird common nighthawk wood thrush black-throated green warbler ovenbird hooded warbler rose-breasted grosbeak
