Golden-crowned kinglets, ruby-crowned kinglets, and
yellow-bellied sapsuckers are now every day birds.
There was a hard freeze during the night and the feeders
were pretty lively. Previous to last night violets and
forsythia were blooming along with the butterfly bush
but all is brown and drooping now. It seems nature is
quite confused.
Although juncos have been reported further south we have
not seen any here in the yard yet.
