Ever feel like the finish line for completing graduate school is impossible to see? Does the thought of one more semester feel overwhelming? You are not alone! Graduate students of today face more challenges than ever. Constantly performing under pressure, combating emotional/physical fatigue, navigating tricky relationships, and an imbalanced lifestyle make many graduate students susceptible to burnout. This seminar has been created to help you assess the components of burnout, learn and develop coping skills tailored to graduate school responsibilities, and guibuild a balanced lifestyle supporting successful completion of your degree.
Your Speaker: Dr. Andy Case-Simonson, Licensed Counseling Psychologist
Dr. Andy Case-Simonson is a licensed counseling psychologist in private practice in Athens. Drawing from work in 6 different universities, he specializes in helping students meet their goals in relationships (family, romantic, friendships, and professional), vocational/academics, and balancing personal and professional responsibilities. His clinical specialty areas include student-centered counseling, stress/anxiety management, couples/marital therapy, depression, diversity issues, identity development, and holistic wellness.
