Subject: Looping macro linked to spreadsheet
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"
I currently have a sas program where you enter a group number, start
date, and end date as a macro variable. The program runs through a
bunch of proc sql, data steps, and exports. I babysit the program until
its done, then enter another group number, and dates and run it again.
I'm looking to make my life easier and was wondering if there was a way
I could enter a list of group numbers, start dates, and end dates into a
spreadsheet and have my sas program import this data and loop once
through my program for each row in the spreadsheet. I tried doing some
searches for this topic but couldnt find what I was looking for.
Thanks for any suggestions.
