There's also the HTTP and <<shudder>> SOAP procs. And there's the javaobj stuff that might let you e.g., distribute java code that does the actual interfacing w/your web service & delivers the data to a SAS dstep. See e.g., http://support.sas.com/rnd/base/datastep/dot/javaobj.html.

I haven't seen anything about ODATA posted in here, nor on support.sas.com, nor in the online doc, although my search may have been inadequate.

What we are looking for is a way for folks to connect to our internet server and be able to download the results of the query to the local PC.

I did see the Filename statement for URL access and if that is workable, would appreciate seeing some examples.

Other options and suggestions to research would be appreciated.
