I saw 2 Bald Eagles at Fortner's Pond in Johnson county on Dec 16 and 17. Also on the pond was a large number of Hooded Mergansers. In with the HOME were Ring-necked Ducks, Ruddy Ducks and Wood Ducks. There was a Greater Yellowlegs in Meeks Pond off US 221.

Fortner's Pond is private property and I sighted all the birds from the road by the pond (DeLorme pg 37, H-6).
