Subject: Strike out on the Vermilion Flycatcher

I was in the Altamaha WMA mostly in the Massman Rd area from 7 am to 1:30 pm today and did not spot the Vermilion Flycatcher. I checked the fields, the views from the New Snipe Pond and all the telephone wires and did not spot the bird. I was the only birder there and could easily have missed it in that vast area. If a lot of birders are there on Sat they may have better luck.

Boo-hoo!
