The message below is being sent to all graduate students as a reminder. Please read the message to determine if it applies to you. Please remember that this account does not accept replies. Contact information is included a the end of the message. If you have taken appropriate action, you may disregard this message.

The enrollment/waiver period for the Mandatory Student Health Insurance Plan and the enrollment period for the Voluntary Student Health Insurance Plan are now through February 3, 2012. Students may view details for the Mandatory and Voluntary Plans on the UGA Human Resources Web site: www.hr.uga.edu<http://www.hr.uga.edu> (select "Student Health Insurance").

Please read the Student Insurance News (link below) for complete information about who is required to have health insurance through the mandatory plan and how to enroll, register, or request to waive coverage: http://www.hr.uga.edu/benefits/stuins/student_insurance_news_11-11.pdf

Please note: Students who are required to have health insurance through the mandatory plan will be AUTOMATICALLY ENROLLED. These students DO NOT need to enroll through the mandatory plan enrollment site. Enrollment is required only if a student required to be covered under the mandatory plan wishes to:

  *   enroll dependents -or-
  *   purchase the optional additional major medical coverage -or-
  *   purchase the optional dental plan or vision plan

Employees in the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) may disregard this message.
