About 30 passed over us, just north of Tifton, just west of interstate 75
about 10:30 this morning, heading north. I heard more about 3 PM and then
saw another 30 or so about 4. Poor things. They must have just gotten
settled down south.

A large flock 50+ of sandhill cranes just passed through Taylorsville
(south
western Bartow County). This is early for migration. I don't usually see
them until February.
