| Subject: | Cross-Variable Rule Error on SPSS 20 |
| Content-Type: | text/plain; charset=us-ascii |
I get the following error while trying to validate my data by "Cross-Variable
Rules" on "Validate Data" procedure.
"Cross-variable rule $VD.CRule[1] is undefined.
Execution of this command stops."
One of my variables is string and i guess that's why the problem occurs.
There's no problem if i try to validate the string variable on
"Single-Variable Rules" because there's already an option to select the type
of the rule as numeric, string or date. But i can't figure why i get that
error on "Cross-Variable Rules"
There's a case on IBM-SPSS Support page and it says the error is already
fixed by the PASW Statistics 18.0.1 patch. Here's the link:
https://www-304.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21484608
Can there still be a problem on V20???
I'd be glad to hear any of your helps...
Thanks.
