Yes I agree with Nat. We run SAS on a server and have our users remote in to it with Remote Desktop Connection. The server is a terminal server. If both the data and the program are on the server and it is configured correctly, then there should be no learning curve associated with just the move to the server. This assumes that you have good bandwidth to the server. If, however, you were running a very old version of SAS on your PC and the latest version on the server, then there would be issues associated with the change of version that the users may incorrectly attribute to the change to the server.
