I also got SAS v6.10 running fine on WIN95. However mine was already installed when I loaded WIN 95.

Now for the bad news. SAS DOES NOT SUPPORT v6.10 under WIN95 (see the current SAS usage note V6-SYS.SYS-A393! below) The file SASWIN95.ZIP has been removed from the FTP server because of problems with 6.10. As point of fact the current release of 6.11 ts020 is regarded as EXPERIMENTAL under WIN95. (Though it works beautifully- so far)

SAS 6.10 under Win95 is not supported

SAS release 6.10 is not supported under Windows 95. SAS Release 6.10 will not install and there are a variety of known problems running the SAS System release 6.10 under Windows 95.

Release 6.11 is the correct SAS release when running Windows 95. Release 6.11 TS020 is experimental under Windows 95. A production version of the SAS System Release 6.11 for Windows 95 is expected to ship middle of 1996.
