On our MVS system, both jobtime and CPU according to SAS increase when the system is heavily loaded. I assume (ass u me) the job is "charged" for swapping.

Sent by:Chau Albert MSM MED <albert.chau@GBHO.MHS.CIBA.COM> Dear SAS-Lers,

I have run a SAS program several times on the VAX and I have found that the CPU time and I/O reported in each SAS log was different. As the program has always been the same and the CPU time does not depend on the current usage of the VAX, I would expect the CPU time to be the same in the logs. Could someone explain to me what's happening?

Thanks in advance for your help.
