Subject: SAS Font for Unix -Reply
I don't know too much about Unix, but I was under the impression that
Unix used ASCII just like the PC. I do know that there is some variation in
the codes used from one printer to another. If that is in fact your
situation then look at the formchar system option and the formchar option
in proc tabulate.
Look at the character chart in your printer documentation and choose
appropriate characters.
Hope this helps.

Hi SAS-Lers,
This is a second attempt at sending this message so I apologize if you
have already receive this.
Do you know if there exist a SAS Font on Unix?
We are attempting to port SAS programs from SAS 6.11 under PC/NT
over to
Solaris 2.4 but the font do not match up. The True Type font which exist
on the PC such as SAS Monospace has extended characters which
allows you to draw boxes. These boxes gets jumbled up when we
ported over to an existing font in unix.
If you know of a utility which converts True Type fonts from the PC over
to a unix pcf format or know of an existing unix font like SAS Font,
please let me know.
Thanks,
