Subject: Greetings to the SAS-L BOF! - Live from Chicago (er sort of)
Folsom, California
March 12, 1996
Rain, 50's
Dear SAS-Lers and particularly Phil,
whom I hope has gotten his internet link up and going from Chicago and
the SAS-L BOF to whom this message is targeted...(BTW the _WEATHER_
around _MOST_ of the country is pretty _CRAPPY_ today, but I _DID_ hear
it was _NICE_ in _CHICAGO_!)
I knew this subject line would get you're attention! OK, OK, so I'm not
at SUGI, (some of us have _real_ work to do...), but here's to the 'L
and all the wonderful things YOU'VE done for US. Congratulations to the
MVS winner(s) for 1996 (you know who you are...mind telling us?)
As a co-winner last year, I send best wishes to all the new winners
(here's where I stroll down the runway one last time...and turn over my
tiara..), some of whom I expect will repeat from last year due to their
continued contributions.
Although my duties have kept me from posting much on the 'L the better
part of this year, I have kept up with the goings on and dutifully read
and archive the best... and BTW SAS-L seems so quiet since y'all have
left us for the Windy city, but life does go on... Witness Tim
Berryhill's posts today... (I hope he wins at least part of the prize.)
So have fun and best regards (and please get out after the kickback and
have one at "Mothers" for me! %-)

I'll probably _STILL_ be at _WORK_ by the time you've gotten started
with the BOF....I'll check in later for further communications)
PS Once y'all get back to _WORK_, could someone enlighten us as to the
topics covered by the "Futures Forum" earlier today?
