Subject: SAS under CICS

Sorry if this message is duplicated - I posted it earlier, but don't seem to be able to see it anymore.

I am interested in finding out what is required to be able to have SAS programs under the control of CICS. This is not for screen processing (SAS/SESSION). I would like to know if I can have CICS starting a SAS program upon receipt of a message in a queue. Speed is not the issue here, but rather to have external messages treated dynamically as they arrive (rather than scheduling a SAS program to run every X minutes).

The environment is SWIFT messages (arriving via Tandem), with CICS running under MVS.
