Subject: Using Hardware fonts with device XCOLOR
Can anyone point me to a work-around for using hardware fonts in
graphics output with a device like XCOLOR that only lists one hardware
font? The most recent SAS Ballot lists the following graphics option as
a potential feature to add:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Graphics Devices
RANK VOTES NUMBER
63.5 19 188 include a facility similar to the FONT
UTILITY to allow the addition of hardware
fonts to the XCOLOR, XBW, and XGRAY device
drivers so hardware fonts can be displayed
on UNIX platforms
----------------------------------------------------------------------
which is basically what I want to do. Is there a way now? Can I make a
copy of the XCOLOR device and modify it in a way that makes it recognize
the other fonts that other Xapps have access to? Thanks,
Matt
