Subject:      "LDATE." informat(?)

I'm doing forensic programming, trying to figure out what another
person did and have come across an LDATE informat.  I can't seem to
find any reference to it in the manuals, but it appears to be
returning the last date in the month.  Makes sense, but could someone
confirm that?  A personal email would be greatly appreciated and I'll
check here too.
