What sort of interface changes can be expected in version 7?
 
Some IT-people (former users?) in our Institute wonder when SAS is
finally going to do away with the Program Editor window and code
writing and replace this with pull-down menus. They tend to ridicule
SAS for not having a real graphical interface ....
 
I don't quite understand how they envisage to do all those different
DATA steps that I usually need to get data into shape for a PROC step
with pull-down menus.
 
But I may be all wrong of course. Perhaps some people enjoy doing
their FORTRAN coding through pull-down menus, too.
