Position Available:     Planning Systems Analyst, Code RP
Location:               San Jose, California
Description of Role:    Join the team charted to re-engineer the Xilinx demand
and
                        supply chain management process. Design and
implementation
                        of the new demand management process will be your
primary
                        role. This work involves both the development of new
Xilinx
                        specific forecasting indicators and the deployment of a
new
                        forecasting tool. Your contributions will also include
                        production planning optimization and inventory modeling
and
                        management. Your skill set and experience should
preferably
                        include modeling, statistical analysis, forecasting,
production
                        planning, mathematical optimization, simulation,
inventory
                        management, and a solid experience with business
applications
                        and databases.
Degree Required:        This position requires a BS or MS in the fields of
operations
                        research, statistics, industrial engineering, or
business
                        management.
Qualifications:         We are looking for a highly motivated individual with
very
                        strong quantitative modeling background and excellent
                        interpersonal communications skills, essential for
success in
                        our cross-functional team.
