One suggestion is if you install SHARE and SHARE*NET on the Unix server, you get an ODBC driver which you can install on the Win95 PC . I am sure you can go from Unix to all ODBC compliant windows PC formats ie Access Excel this way, and I think you can go in the other direction, but I'm not sure. Maybe it's worth checking out.
