Really? I can't find it. I'm running SAS 6.07 on DG/Unix, and was told the
only module that LOWESS is available in is SAS/IML (one which we don't have).
It would be nice to have it in Insight, and SAS may indeed have added it to
operating systems deemed worthy of updated releases. It would be even better
as
a SAS/GRAPH option, given the lack of popularity (and difficulty of use, I'm
told) of IML, and the "rough draft" quality of Insight graphics.
Michael Friendly's homepage has a macro to create LOWESS graphs in SAS, by way
of SAS/IML--check out http://hotspur.psych.yorku.ca/cgi-bin/wwwwais, or save a
