Subject:   Re: OH HOLY KARP RESPONDS

I am not sure who wrote this, and perhaps I don't want to know!

I won't even dignify this with a response. Even if I made an error in my response to this poster, I think all of us on this list appreciate it when the vituperation and other inappropriate emotions are kept off the list.

Needless to say, I meant no offense in my response to this questioner. I am always gratified when I meet people at SAS conferences and elsewhere who have found my posts to the list of use. I have also learned alot from those who have taken the time to point out where I went wrong or how an approach I took to solving a poster's problem could have been modified or improved. We all learn from that, and I think that is why we are all participants on the list. But, I cannot be responsible for how others interpret my remarks.

But, next time turn off the caps, ok?
