Subject: Crontab & SAS Batch Submits

This week I learned how to create a "crontab" in UNIX. Previously, I was setting off a SAS program, that needed to run after hours on a daily basis, with the "at" command.

The SAS program also has numerous X statements that submit other SAS batch programs. These other SAS programs ran fine with the "at" command, but do not run at all with the "crontab".

Has anyone run into this before? If so, were you able to get "crontab" to submit the other SAS programs?

TIA, Kim LeBouton Independent Consultant at American Honda Motor Co., Inc.
