Drs Black, Metchik and fellow listers:
I run SPSS 7.5 with several additional modules on two computers: a Pentium
133 and a Cyrix 6x86 P166. I've had absolutely no trouble with either.
Furthermore, the tech support folks at Cyrix were *wonderful*, going so far
as to purchase and install SPSS 7.0 (the version current at the time) on
one of their machines in order to test it before advising me whether or not
to buy. Check their web site; they have a list of software they have
checked out as being compatible (and it includes pretty nearly everything).
