Subject:   Editor Glitch PC-SAS 6.0

I am having a problem with the SAS editor. I am sure that many of you out there can help me.

When using PC SAS 6.0 on an IBM 330 Pentium running Windows 3.1, I find that the editor has a glitch I cannot solve. Using the mouse to position the cursor, all characters are added to the right of the cursor, not to the left. The computer has two insert buttons, but they don't solve the problem. At times adding numbers to the lines seems to solve the problem, but otherwise it is stubborn.

My past experience has been with SAS on a mainframe, and I am bothered by this PC-related problem. Any ideas?

Please post here or reply george@nccu.edu

Thanks.

ghc.
