The following is an example of an attempt to search the listserver archive for
sas-l. The original was correct, or close to correct. Unfortunately, this
version has been forwarded (twice now), so that it has lots of extra stuff. In
my experience, the stuff starting with:
//LOOKJFCB JOB
is correct, although the example in the FAQ uses a space between DD and *:
//RULES DD *
The obvious problem is that the query was sent to sas-l@... rather than to
listserv@.... Note that these are two step requests: the first request (shown
below) returns the index, then a separate request which must repeat the search
can include PRINT requests, using the index numbers from the first request.
