Subject: Combining mutiple string variables into one string
Content-type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII

Is there a command/statement in SPSS that can take three n string variables and combine them into one string variable?

The problem I have is that someone has sent me address information that is seperated into four fields: buiding number, street direction, street name, and street type. I need to combine these four string field into one field so that I can geocode the addresses.

Thanks Christopher D. Maxwell Research Associate
