IMHO it is worth upgrading to Merlin (aka Warp 4.0). Yes, it can in fact be a trying experience installing OS/2 or any other 32-bit OS. It is not yet perfect but it is getting better and easier.

Yes you can expect help from both the SAS Institute and fellow OS/2 users. Many of us hang out at OS2-L@nic.surfnet.nl and other similar fora, e.g. OS2USER-L, TEAMOSHELP-L etc.

Before any of can be of any assistance we need to know your hardware specs, e.g. pc brand & model (if name brand); CPU, memory, harddrive (make, model #, type, amt of free space), RAM, CD (ditto), sound card (ditto), video card (ditto) etc etc. The specs will enable us to find out if device drivers already exist and/or where they can be located. Also, it may happen that someone has similar or identical hardware and have been thru this process before. They are the best to tell you about the pitfalls.
