Check out Don Stanley's paper "Cursor Tracking in SAS/AF FRAME Applications" in the SUGI 22 Proceedings. He gives a good description of time driven event handling and provides some sample code.

--------- From: Tibor PEAK To: SAS-L Subject: A FRAME QUESTION Date: Monday, April 28, 1997 3:11PM

Inside a Frame Entry we are waiting for a user action (pressing a button, or something like that..). We would like to perform a certain action at regular times even if the user does not press that button. And then waiting for the user's input again.

Has anyone tips for us?

TIA
