Subject: Re: SPSS 7.5 on Network
There was a misprint in the installation instructions
for the SPSS 7.5 network version. When setting up the
server installation from the CD ROM, type
d:\spss\setup -net
rather than
d:\setup -net
(substituting, of course, whatever drive designation
is appropriate). This will execute a different setup
file and perform the proper server installation -- one
that will create a \setup subdirectory on the server
from which you'll run the *other* setup.exe to do the
client installations.
SPSS apologizes for the confusion this misprint
has caused.
