Subject: Re: Q: new macro book ??

/From: Sung-Il Cho <sungil@HOHP.HARVARD.EDU>

/I hear that there is a recent manual on macro language /to replace the "SAS guide to macro processing, 2nd ed., 1990".

/Has anybody checked out how much new stuff it contains ? /i.e. is it worth buying (I'm afraid so...) ?

Yes, I have seen and purchased it at SUGI. Gotta take advantage of them conference discounts!

It was worth my bucks: I finally have a version of the NOBS macro that is not a kludge. The stuff on the use of the new function %SYSFUNC made my day.
