Hi,

Proc source generates control cards for IEBUPDTE utility. See IBM utility manual for details. You have to give your input in SYSIN, it will print to SYSPRINT, I don't recall others details. It must be described in PROC SOURCE documentation.

Hope it helps, Bernard Tremblay \\\|/// \\ - - // ( @ @ ) +------oOOo-(_)-oOOo----------+---------------------------------+ | Bernard Tremblay | | | La Capitale | Tel: (418) 646-2401 | | | Fax: (418) 646-5960 | | | Int: bernard@capitale.qc.ca | +-----------------------------+---------------------------------+ | Imaginasys enr | Res: (418) 878-4447 | | | Int: bertrem@quebectel.com | +---------------Oooo----------+---------------------------------+ oooO ( ) ( ) ) / \ ( (_/ \_) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ >>>From owner-sas-l@UGA.CC.UGA.EDU Sat Jul 12 16:42 EDT 1997 >>>Mime-Version: 1.0 >>>Content-Disposition: inline >>>Date: Sat, 12 Jul 1997 13:47:26 -0700 >>>From: Charles Shipp <CSHIPP@BAS.CI.LA.CA.US> >>>Subject: Proc SOURCE >>>To: Multiple recipients of list SAS-L <SAS-L@UGA.CC.UGA.EDU> >>> >>>Gurus, >>> If I use Proc SOURCE to move a mainframe pds to a flat file, >>>which IBM utility will move if back from a flat file to a new pds ??? >>>(Proc SOURCE inserts control cards for it to come back.) >>> Thanks, >>> Charlie Shipp >>> < cshipp@bas.CI.LA.ca.us >
