PNWSUG '97 - 16th Annual Conference

Pacific NorthWest Regional SAS Users Group Conference

SAS Institute Course in conjunction with conference: Building a Data Warehouse using SAS/Warehouse Administrator(tm) November 5-7 Fee: $980 Cdn. Contact Gloria Pierre at (416) 307-4535 in Canada 1-800-229-1743 This year's Conference will focus on -- but will not be limited to -- Data Warehousing and SAS, SAS and the World Wide Web, and the new and enhanced features available in the coming SAS Version 7. Speakers will include Northwest SAS users from a wide variety of computing environments, as well as SAS Institute presenters who will discuss new products and directions coming out of the Institute. In conjunction with the conference, the SAS Institute will offer a November 5-7 course on "Building a Data Warehouse with the SAS Warehouse Administrator".

PNWSUG 97 has arranged for special rates for conference attendees at two Victoria hotels, the Empress, and the Ocean Pointe Resort. Conference rates at both hotels are in effect for two nights prior to the Conference and for two nights after the Conference, (October 31st through November 6th) depending on availability. Reservations must be made by October 10th, 1997 to receive the special rates, and be sure to mention PNWSUG when you make your reservations.

The Empress is connected to the Conference site, the Victoria Conference Centre, and the Ocean Pointe Resort is a ten-minute walk (or a quick shuttle ride) around the Inner Harbour.

Deluxe rooms at $99 Canadian (about $74.25 US), with Outer Harbour view rooms available at $119 ($89.25 US), and Inner Harbour views at $129 ($96.75 US), and Junior Suites at $236 ($177 US).

Registration:

Conference registration includes continental breakfast, lunch, coffee breaks, all sessions you can attend, and the Opening and Closing Sessions. It also includes a copy of the Conference Proceedings and any other handouts.

In order to qualify for the discounted early registration rate and the free SAS publication, your registration form must be received by October 10th, 1997; to be assured of space, your registration must be received by October 24th, 1997. Cancellation Policy: Refund of fees is allowed if written notice of cancellation is received by October 3rd, 1997. Refunds will be issued within 30 days of the end of the conference.
