Subject: text output in SPSS 7.5.2
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hi,

I work with LaTex, a program in which it is easy to write mathematics. You have to program your tex (write your "text" in an editor and compile it). There is a command (\begin{verbatim}... \end{verbatim}) which you can use to print exactly what you write between these "begin{verbatim}" and "\end{verbatim}". This is what I used to include an SPSS output in my document.

Recently I started using SPSS 7.5.2 and this version has no text output any more. Copying and pasting does not work anymore: everything appears on one line, you have to format the table yourself.

I tried to change the output into text output (View - Options: Navigator) but this only changes the way the output looks (no lines, boxes, ...), the output still remains formatted as a table, but without the lines.

A past special did not work either.

Does anyone know how to get real text output in these higher version?

Thanks!

Viviane Festjens.
