Subject: Re: Conversion to windows
Yes this is possible. However you need to take the following steps:
1. Export your systemfiles:
GET FILE='<your file'>.
EXPORT OUTFILE='<filename.PFF>'.
2. Transfer the files to location that can be approached by Windows.
(Use ftp or something comparable, if your running PC-NFS you mat just
need to copy it to a directory that is available from Windows)
3. Import the systemfiles
IMPORT FILE='<filename.PFF>'.
SAVE OUTFILE='<your file.SAV'.
4. Make syntax files available (see 2).
5. Edit syntaxfiles
You need to change the references to the systemfiles in your syntax to
reflect the different location and operating system conventions.
Good Luck !!!
