Is there confusion here between SASWORK and SASUSER?  SASWORK is used
internally by SAS for its' own purposes and can therefore be deleted (except
for recovery as one reader noted). RTFM for the SAS options WORKTERM and
WORKINIT to control how SASWORK is cleared.
