From my experience the comments made about the technical prowess (or
lack thereof) of application developers in using CEDF could equally be
applied to many systems programmers.
Just what damage am I supposed to be able to do with EDF? I realise I
can hold resources unnecessarily because it is conversational, but
overwriting storage? - unless there is a trick to this the display of
working storage only allows you to change your own working storage; you
can display other storage, but not change it.
Having said that, I do agree that use of diagnostic tools in a
production environment should only be a last resort.
